  • Where is the version for Windows?
There is no version for Windows. I'm not working on it.
  • How does it work?
Ads are resources (images, flash animations, scripts) whose URLs follow regular patterns. The AdBlock Plus team makes a wonderful job at maintaining a list of those patterns. Safari AdBlock uses the AdBlock Plus pattern lists to filter every resource URL before it is loaded and blocks it if it is detected as a possible ad URL. Safari AdBlock also removes some HTML elements after the page has been loaded to preserve the layout.
